Dating back to the late 17th Century, the Swan’s Nest was originally ‘The Bear’, a name retained by the atmospheric freehouse – with a blazing central fireplace – which is part of the hotel. Two of the earliest brick houses in Stratford provided the foundations for today’s Swan’s Nest, which has 72 bedrooms, from comfortable Club Doubles to spacious, sumptuous suites.

The Bear and Le Bistrot Pierre, with riverside views, provide on-site dining options, and the Swan’s Nest is also dog-friendly, making it the perfect base from which to explore the many wonderful walks available on the Cotswolds – without having to leave your pets at home.
