If you’d like to experience Stratford from the water, you can pick up a boat from Avon Boating from just outside our pub, The Bear Freehouse.
You can take a relaxing 40 minute river cruise and then come and enjoy a traditional pub lunch at the Bear. If you are the more independent type, then why not hire your own motor boat to potter up and down the river, costing just £35 per half hour (2023)
Avon Boating cruises are open mid-March to late October, 7 days a week from 10am-4:30pm.
